The room was a lot nicer then shown in the pictures. I was presently surprised. The bed was really comfortable. Easy check in and check out. Walking distance to all bars and restaurants.

Brian welcomed us when we arrived, he was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our family room was very spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the big smart tv was very welcome to have a movie night after a busy day of visiting. Although there was no breakfast option at booking there were a selection of snacks available for free which was a nice and unexpected surprise. We had a very restful night and are delighted with our stay. We will definitely be back if we visit the area again.

This gastropub - and the whole town of Kilkenny - was amazing! The staff were super friendly, helpful and professional. The room was nice, adequate and bathroom was ok, but water a wee bit chilly. The included breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The dinner was about the best meal we had during our 2 weeks driving around Ireland. Location was great; we were there during the week, and place was calm at night. The pub itself was well visited, and the rooftop courtyard was also a lovely place to meet people - locals as well as tourists - over a pint. We liked it so much, that we thought we'd swing by on our way back towards Dublin, but there was no room at the inn for a repeat visit.

We stayed in a cozy room perfect for a couple. Near the accomodation were plenty of Pubs, Cafes and restaurants to choose from (still quiet for good night sleep). All the main attractions are in walking distance. The host margaret is a lovely lady who went beyond our expectations of a great host - welcoming, friendly, great recommendations, even sent us some things we forgot. Highly recommended staying there!
