Johnson is a cool guy with a cool home and a cool sense of humour. Located a 10 minute walk from the beach in one direction and 10 minute walk from the main shopping area in the other. Johnson also arranged for me a day out on a canoe amongst the villagers on the backwaters at short notice which I highly recommend for a true taste of the Kerala backwaters and Keralan life. Thank you, Johnson, for a great stay in alleppey!

A "nest" in the center, not far from the beach. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. The room is simple, but comfortable and clean! The atmosphere is zen and pleasant, exactly what I was looking for. I really enjoyed my stay at this place and highly recommend it 😀

Wow, AMAZING! Very peaceful and relaxing. Lisa (host) really made us feel at home, with her kind and warm nature, not forgetting her tasty home cooked meals. Lisa was very helpful, booking taxis and our own river cruise of the back waters. Highly recommend if it’s Peace and Quiet you are looking for. Will definitely return one day.

Great accommodation. Guess recently refurbished. Everything in the room and bathroom was very clean, smart and new. Seconds away from the beach. Really enjoyed my stay there as I travelled up the Kerala coast.

Gotra beach casa is very close to the beach and the room was very comfortable and clean, in addition there were also air-conditioned rooms. We were also able to use the kitchen and eat there some days. But what we liked the most was the owner Sulfikar. He is very professional, kind and friendly. He recommended us plans, restaurants, shops and he even took us by car to some place that was far away. We wanted to rest for a couple of days somewhere near the sea and we were so comfortable that we ended up staying for a month!! now, we leave here with a new friend and a wonderful experience. PS: we also recommend his houseboat, a very cool experience to do if you come to Alappuzha😁
