The booking did not include breakfast but the family toked their time and cooked for us since we were hungry and the food we order was going to take very long, the food was delicious and made with care and kindness. The owner waiter for our arrival awake past midnight and welcome us with a friendly smile and patience. I will happily book again this place any time I go back to Bodhgaya, the super convenient location at a walking distance from Bodhi Tree and the exceptional hospitality and care that made our stay truly enjoyable and memorable makes this decision easy to make

What an incredible place, run by the kindest owners you could ever meet! The property is spotless and perfectly located in the center of everything. When my friend fell seriously ill, they went above and beyond to help — arranging an ambulance, checking in constantly, and even picking me up after a long, exhausting day at the hospital. I’m truly grateful for their care and compassion. Highly recommended!

It was perfect and very quite to stayed there before going to the 10 days of Vipassana meditation that was quite close. The family was very kind, they let me choose the room that was very nice, spacious and clean with a lovely balcony. There was a little kitchen to could use and they kindly refill my bottle in filtered water. It was fantastic to could use have use a washing machine and hanging the clothes in the lovely big terrace upstairs. I would have loved to come back there after Vipassana but I was invited to stay in a monastery so I changed my plan.

If you want to experience the local culture while supporting a good cause, this is the place to do so! We felt very welcome in the family and as we visited during the festival we got taken along to all the ceremonies the festival entails. This was a truly unique experience which we are very happy to have been a part of. Furthermore the guesthouse is next to the school it supports so you can easily pay a visit there too. The place is just outside of town, so this gives some peace from the busy city. But it can be reached easily by tuktuk (although you might need to help a bit with the navigation) from the temple area of bodh gaya. The guesthouse serves a simple but delicious breakfast and dinner as well as an assortment of hot drinks. Beds are basic but comfortable, so is the shower with reliable hot water. The guesthouse can also arrange other touristic excursions or transportation with a good driver and comfortable car. They are however not the cheapest option in this category.

I arrived at this guest house with the flu, the host went above and beyond to take care of me. He took care of all my needs (food, medicine, toiletries, sim card, etc.). He personally nursed me back to health. I felt cared for like family and for that,I am forever grateful.

Dharmik guest house is driven by a very friendly and welcoming family and on the top of that, the rooms are newly made, clean, spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The guest house is at walking distance to Bodhi Tree, also accessible by the road close by. The house is located in a quiet area and the neighbourhood is kind and friendly. Guesthouse has all you need to explore Bodhgaya. Very comfortable, a great value for money place to stay. Room was good, clean with a/c and great Wi-Fi. What makes it a really lovely place is Gaurav and his brother who run it, who are very kind, helpful and made us feel at home. English spoken too. Would recommend to all.
