Great hospitality and food. Rooms well furnished with a walk in shower. Location also great, within walking distance of attractions. Overall amazing experience. The hosts went out of their way to help us. And the food was one of the best we had in Jaipur.

Doongri House is a small family run guest house with 7 rooms, all opening up onto a stunning roof top terrace in the middle of the old city, Jaipur. The family are the kindest, most loveliest of people with the biggest hearts. When you stay here, you are made to feel so welcome, you really don’t want to stay anywhere else. We stayed for 4 nights, our room was so spacious, lovely and clean with also a small heater provided, just to take the chill off with the cooler evenings. So welcome. We also enjoyed breakfast on the sunny rooftop terrace, delicious scrambled eggs, toast and coffee. They have a nice selection of foods you can order and enjoy whilst you are there. It’s such a nice place to sit and relax, away from the busy streets below. It was also the kite festival whilst we were there and the family kindly invited us to stay ( even though we were checking out that day) to watch the festival from their rooftop. Wow, what a spectacular event that was. Thank you so much Doongri House for your kindness and hospitality, you made our stay in Jaipur so memorable and special. We wish you all the best!

For now it is the cheapest and my best stay in India. Hotel is just after renovation, it is super clean and there is always hot water. I see that French owner is keeping French quality. Localization is pretty good, in very calm place with good bus connection to the Jaipur. Additionaly there is an amaizing tarrace view!

This is truly an exceptional guest house in an excellent location,walking distance to the main tourist attractions and bazaar, yet in a peaceful side street. The haveli itself is beautiful, a recently renovated heritage building it is spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. My room was really comfortable with a spacious ,modern bathroom and a very hot shower. Siddi,the hostess was always available to help and we had the privilege of sharing Diwali festivities with her. I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough .It was a delight to stay here and spend some time in Siddi's company.

The property is very beautiful, clean and well connected. They have a parking space as well. Mr. Anupam and other members from the property were the best hosts I have come across. All of them were helpful, polite and friendly. We stayed there for 2 nights and did not have a meal outside. The breakfast, lunch and dinner can be made as per your request and they make it fresh. The chef was exceptional and the person serving the food made us feel like some royal people. The rooms are very big and they will actually give you a palace feel. Even the bathrooms are big. We booked a jacuzzi room and it was fantastic. We had to checkout very early in the morning and still they were willing to help us with the breakfast. I am afraid that this might sound as a paid review given how marvellous their service was but I need to tell this to everybody that if you want to feel at home while also being treated as royally this is the place to be. Look at the photos how well managed and beautifully built the property is.

I’ve stayed in many guest houses, but none have matched the exceptional service I received at Rudra The Stay. The staff were so attentive and thoughtful, from offering us a warm welcome to making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible.
