Photos are not even close to reality. The property is very remote from the city. Travelling was a nightmare with auto drivers asking for exorbitant money. The room was very small, there was no lift in the place. Front desk was hardly operational, air con did not have a remote so room was very hot or very cold. ( no temperature regulation) . Wash basin was in the room. No breakfast with the room and Mc donalds opposite opens at 10 am. Not happy with the accommodation. Stay more near the city would be better.

A lovely lodging surrounded by serene gardens, perfect to relax with a cup of tea and read your book. The whole atmosphere is very calming and peaceful, perfect to recharge. The room was exceptionally clean. My room came with the private terrace, which was an added bonus. You definitely need to arrange some mode of transport to get around, though it’s a 15 min walk to the Auroville road, where you can find all the shops/ cafes.

We had a wonderful family trip at The Villa Pondichery. The main hall was very spacious with a TV and fridge, perfect for relaxing together. Breakfast was served hot and tasty.
