Very nice guesthouse near Laxman Jhula but away from the crowds. I really enjoyed staying at Pooja’s homestay. It was clean & room was large, cozy, and I slept very well. Nice kitchen too. It is high up the bit steep hill from downtown, & I enjoyed the walk there to escape the noise & go to town when desired. It felt safe at night too, in a cute local neighborhood. Pooja is sweet and helpful, and it’s a nice independent stay.

The location is stunning, right next to a waterfall in the middle of the mountains. The talis (mixed platters) are prepared with local produce & lots of love. The homestay has only 10 rooms which really creates an atmosphere of home with enough privacy in the rooms, the yoga SHALA or the hang out areas! Highly recommended!

Rajiv was very courteous, welcoming and amiable. The property is located in a very tranquil area; beautiful garden, very clean spaces. Better than other hotels that charge more and offer less. The rooftop is great to do yoga or simply stare at the sky while enjoying a gentle breeze (mid sept, 2025). The room has a small kitchen with utensils.
