Everything - easy to find with clear signage, the hosts were lovely people, comfy beds, the room was spacious and extremely clean, shower had very good water pressure and was warm. Its about 15 min from Selfoss so really close to amenities but secluded at the same time. There is a fridge in the room for your own food, kettle and tea and a welcome biscuit. Easy parking just out front. We came a bit late around 10pm so didn't see the full kitchen but in the common corridor for the 2 guest rooms, there is a microwave and plates and cutlery for use probably because of those late check ins and snacks. So thoughtful!

The property is really beautiful - the decor is tasteful,warm and friendly. It has a hot tub and a cold plunge and a huge kitchen. There is a garden/conservatory linking the kitchen to the house which is simply wonderful filled with amazing plants with lots of seating. It is nothing like anywhere else we have stayed and stands out from the rest of the accommodation available in Iceland.

This guest house is set on a family-owned, working farm with animals. Central Selfoss in southern Iceland is 7 km away. WiFi, sauna and outdoor hot tub access are free.

Extremely clean place, including the room and the shared bathroom. The rooms also have slippers, sleeping masks, earplugs and shampoo/shower gels for the guests which is a nice touch. We had the shared bathroom all to ourselves since nobody was staying in the room next door. The common area is spacious and has quite a few games etc. There is free coffee, hot chocolate and tea for the guests at all times.

Me and my partner both loved our stay at skálatjörn guesthouse. The hostess was really welcoming, showed us around the goat farm, the rooms were very comfortable and the location is just stunning. We recommend a stay there 100%!!

Really nice and modern accommodation. Veronique made us feel very welcome. Free coffee and ice cubes were available. Flat TV in our room and a small kitchen. A bit offside, but totally worth a stop after an exhausting day.

We had a nice stay. The rooms and radiators were nice and warm Very large and nice public shared area. Shared toilet and bathroom were clean Quick and good information from the owner via the booking app. Cleanness great. Really nice and huge kitchen Very remote, and quiet at night. Really great Free parking facilities near by. All in all good value for money. We liked it.

Very (very) well equipped and comfortable apartment, located near the beach in a quiet environment. The hot tub and large terrace added extra comfort. The owners were extremely helpful and nice for truly optimizing our stay. Once again, an outstanding place to stay in south iceland !
