Our room was located in an external cabin with shared bathroom facilities with one other room. This was ideal for our needs. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Guesthouse Husid is located a short drive on a paved road from the Ring Road, and is only 30 mins from Seljalandfoss which is the area's main attraction. We would also recommend visiting Gluggafoss which is only 10 mins away, and was one of our waterfall highlights! The owners were very responsive to our emails as we were delayed in arriving, and when we met in the morning we received a warm welcome. Breakfast was also very good with plenty of choice and set us up for the day.

Good location to stop before/after Landmannalaugar. It felt just like home at this place. I don't know why, but it just felt so warm, so relaxing.. when my fiance entered the room, she instantly said she could live there forever... friendly owners and very cool and cute dog.
