I arrived by motorcycle and to my surprise the hotel is run by a motorcycle school called Enduro Republic. I got to park my bike in style in their clubhouse / office / repair shop. I was treated with a coffee and then walked over to my fantastic room. My stay was on a weekday between seasons and only one restaurant was open which was fine with me. I strolled around the interesting village almost on my own. The room was large and comfortable, and there was a kettle and some complimentary snacks in the room.

This place is really great! Huge appartment with big kitchen, leaving room with dining table, large bedrooms and bathrooms. The breakfast has plenty of options in huge quantities (milk, yogurt, fruit juices, cereals, biscuits, crackers, PLENTY of coffee capsules...). Really couldn't ask for more.

The hosts were wondefully welcome to our family. Fresh food, eggs and smiles. There little farm was a wonder for our 2 year old who spent time everyday with the hosts feeding the animals. 20 minutes drive into Piacenza but on the doorstep of the Grazzono Visconti estate. Will stay again.

This place is really amazing. It is not far from Duomo and it is a palace from 15th. century. Our room had original ceilings, nice old beds and beatiful flooring, so if you would like to try how did it feel to sleep in an old palace, try this out. In the morning Roberto, the owner, gave us a tour through the whole place. Amazing! Thank you Roberto. Karel and Marek.
