Loved the brand new, super comfortable and modern room in the historic building, the fabulous location near famous sites, and the safe, secure building. A bonus was that there is a restaurant downstairs owned by the same family, and we enjoyed outstanding food there. There is a small shared kitchen separate from the room that has free juice, tea and coffee, very nice. In a highly walkable location, just a few minutes to Villa d’Este and Villa Gregoriana, along with being steps to tons of shops and cafes. Really enjoyed it and would definitely return when we come back to Tivoli.

Our recent stay at Al Catillo in Tivoli, Italy was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality by Stefano. The charming historic building has been beautifully restored, blending modern comfort with classical elegance. The room was immaculate and spacious. The bathroom was spotless and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. Breakfast was a delightful experience, featuring a variety of fresh and delicious local products. The location is ideal, nestled in the heart of Tivoli, within walking distance to the town’s famous landmarks like Villa d’Este and Villa Gregoriana as well as delightful restaurants. The serene ambiance of the property provided a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Overall, Al Catillo exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting Tivoli.

Such a wonderful place! A beautiful and spacious room, in a renovated old building. The location is perfect - on the edge of the old city, but just a few minutes walk from a non-expensive parking lot. Ahead of our visit we asked to confirm we would have a shower and a desk. We eventually had a great shower in addition to a Jacuzzi bath, and the antique desk was large and very convenient to work on. There was a little fridge filled with drinks for free usage (water, milk, juice and soft drinks). Also a kettle and a coffee machine with supplies. We didn't meet Sara, the owner, in person, but she communicated with us on WhatsApp, made sure we are comfortable, and sent great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Her love to the city was evident and contagious :) We stayed two nights, but in retrospect would have stayed even three (with a rented car). The area around Tivoli is beautiful, with many old hill-towns, and Tivoli itself has lots to see. At the end of May there were not too many tourists.

Wonderful! A jewel. People in the hotel are the most nice! Big room, very clean. Very good shower. Very good W-Fi. Very silent. Large area, almost a park. Restaurant has very good food and list of wines. All very good and very good price. For sure we will come back!

- excellent location (near the entrance to Villa d'Este and close to the bus station for Villa Adriana and Rome) - clean, quiet and comfortable room (we had room no. 3, we don't know if the other two are the same) - large, well-equipped bathroom - a decent breakfast (not too abundant, but a coffee, a yogurt and some sweets can be a good start for the day)
