We loved this apartment! Everything is brand new, the beds are comfortable, there is a table with chairs to eat or work, comfortable bathroom with hot shower (and bath) and a great balcony. It was very quiet and just a short walk from the station. Highly recommend staying here!

Best place we stayed in Japan (one month trip and we are quite picky) We were upgraded to a bigger room for free. Room was amazing and clean with bathroom and window. We booked one more night because we fell in love with it and with Beppu. Staff is fantastic, nice and helpful and giving you tips for the city. Common area is so nice, kitchen amenities fantastic. It’s everything you want and need ♥️

The location is ideal—just a short walk from the Sunflower Ferry port and conveniently close to the city center. The lobby offers a welcoming atmosphere where you can enjoy complimentary hot and cold drinks, play retro video games, read books, or simply unwind while watching anime on TV. The room was exceptionally spacious, one of the largest we experienced during our stay in Japan.

Everything! Is really close to the station, rooms are big and spacious with a traditional style. The common area at the first floor is big and has a relaxing atmosphere. And there’s an onsen everybody can use, even people with tattoo and this is the main reason I picked this place for my stay in Beppu. Is the right place to relax and explore Oita prefecture.

Such a kind host! He remembered our names and was always happy to talk to us. The hotel is very clean and perfectly located in the city op Beppu. Lots of restaurants nearby.

The hosts were so lovely! I really enjoyed the experience staying in such a beautiful home and felt very welcomed and safe. The place was easy to find and parking was very convenient! The location worked well for my needs especially since I had a car, everything was accessible. The room was nice and clean, I liked the homely vibe which was what I was looking for with this booking. It was very quiet. I'm afraid of spiders so was a little concerned about that in this area, but the room never had any spiders and I didn't see any inside the house. There was one of the window of the toilet room, which had me concerned but luckily since there were two toilets I just went to the other one haha. You can see rather large spiders outside in the garden, but I never had any near me or on my car (did a thorough check before driving of course), obviously this isn't an issue for most just a note for people with similar fears/concerns.

Best hostel I've been is Japan. The room is big, with a big locker to store your belongings (I could fit a 16" laptop with a camera bag of body + 3 lenses, so it's big). You get a curtain that fully blocks the light, and gives you good privacy. The way the room & beds are aligned makes it very comfortable, it doesn't feel tight in space, like other hostels in Japan. The shared space and lounge is great, I met there some nice people and we hanged out there, and went to a Karaoke that's right in front of the hostel. The WiFi is strong, I could get some work done and make some calls, and the lounge is very comfortable for sitting with a laptop. Location is very convenient to get to places inside Beppu, and in general close to Beppu Kitahama bus station (5 min walk) And the price was fairly cheap for a hostel in Japan, and for what you get for the price.

It's much better than the rating suggests. The room is cheap, fairly large, and very comfortable, and it's very well located in the city. The only bathroom is a bit rundown, but you get tickets to go to the onsen next door every day. There's a rooftop and a kitchen. I recommend it.
