I really enjoyed the quiet and laid back atmosphere of the guesthouse in December. Had the whole place to myself basically since it was a low season for tourism. All basic amenities were provided and everything was very clean.

Ryodai was a great host with a lot of cool things to share about his home town Ishinomaki. The hostel had a very cozy vibe and lots of space in the common area, so I felt right at home. There is a guitar there too which was a bonus for me!

I like the place but it was a little bit strange; it is an old building that has been reformed in order to make it a guest house; unusual but ok.
