The house's location is on the side of a mountain, surrounded beautifully by nature. Despite arriving VERY late, we were received and treated kindly. Additionally, at no fault of the owner's, there was a mistake with the reservation and the owner did not have room for 2 women. Despite this, the owner found a place for us. The place is FILLED with cats!! The cats are healthy, friendly, playful, and gentle. When it was time to sleep, they joined us on the futons but did not annoy us. If you're sensitive to noise it might be a little noisy, but I found it relaxing, and it reminded me of my cat back home. The owner is unbelievably kind, and I cannot say enough nice things about our stay. If you are a cat lover, please stay here!

It feels like a family. We were cooking and having dinner together 😊 I had lots of unique experiences by meeting the people in the village and talking to them. Acchan took me and other guests to the Sake brewery for a tasting and showed us around. I liked the experience so much that I cancelled my further travel plans and volunteered for a week.

The public toilet and the Onsen were always clean, seemed like there was staff cleaning every hour. The room was clean as well.

The location was a little obscure, being down a small alley, but the accommodation was fine. It was a Japanese style room with Tatami and Futons and was very comfortable. Handy to the ferries to get to Hiroshima.

Lovely apartment with plenty of space. Very clean too. Transport to and from the island via ferry was easy.

Room was massive for one person. Fantastic view of the pagoda (but the main tori gate was not visible). Location is located slightly uphill but still close to the main shopping street and the shrine. The room shares the bathroom and shower with everyone else, but has its own sink so it's more convenient. The shared bathrooms were clean, and there's a shared bath that people can reserve.
