This was by far my favourite stay of my Japan trip. Not only was the guest house absolutely stunning and tastefully furnished, within very close proximity to the deer park, I was welcomed so warmly and it really felt like home for the night I was there. Having an elevator and a parking spot was convenient for our group especially our elderly. The host was quick in responding to our messages prior and during our stay, she also prepared some goodies for us as breakfast.

The guesthouse is clean with sophisticated household appliances. It is located near JR station and a supermarket for business, so it is very convenient for travellers to shop and prepare food. And we were surprised to find there were two toilets! We had a chance to meet the house owner, who is a friendly and polite man. He asked for photocopies of our passports. This made us feel a sense of safety as we can tell everything here is carefully managed and comply with regulations. I would strongly recommend foreign visitors to consider staying at this guesthouse instead of hotels. It's a great opportunity to get closer to life in Nara.

A typical Japanese house inside a maze of streets filled with shops, bars and restaurants. All the important sights of Nara can be comfortably reached on foot. The house was spacious and had everything you might need for a memorable stay including efficient AC units during the hot summer. Although there were only two of us the house will comfortably sleep up to six people. Two showers and toilets.
