The absolute loveliest stay I’ve had in Japan. What a delight the hosts are - Glenda is an absolute gem and the loveliest. She used to tour around Japan as a singer! If you’re lucky enough, you can get her to sing a bit for you. Her husband is an incredibly talented chef and cooked us a huge and wonderful dinner - probably the best food I’ve had in Japan. Strong recommend!

I found the place great for exploring Kanazawa: you get an entire traditional Japanese house for yourself, in a quiet place despite being 20 minutes by foot from Kenroku-en garden and the castle, and at a very competitive price. It was extremely clean and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect, the location, the house with all the nice little touches, it's sparkling clean, full of character. An authentic Japanese experience. The lady Noto (the host) is very kind. Definitely recommend and would happily stay again.
