Was quite a late booking, but this place was just perfect. 300m from lift, easy stroll into town post slopes, good sized room. But the real highlight were the wonderful hosts. Such wonderful people. Whilst unsure of other options in area. Would definitely consider re booking in future.

Staffs - The staffs managing the hotel made me feel at home with their friendliness and attention to details. They are also very knowledgeable about the places of interest around Nozawa Onsen. I've been in Japan for close to 3 weeks and this is the first place where I felt like coming back to home after a day of snowboarding. Breakfast made by them were sumptuous as well! I love chilling at the common area due to its cleanliness and tea/coffee is available anytime. Not a speck of dirt during my stay there( some kids dropped their cookies while eating but it was quickly cleaned up by the staffs). Location - Right next to 1 of the gondola. If your main objective is to snowboard or ski, this is the place for you. Although the main street is a bit of walk down the slope, well...you can't have the best of both world I guess which is fine by me. Facilities - As mentioned, the common area is one of the best aspect of this place. The shared toilet is cleaned and well equipped as well with heater installed(if you are that cold..)

We literally loved everything about our stay. Incomparable to hotels in European ski resorts, in the good way. Breakfast was amazing, ski material was of high quality and really easy to get and change. Apart from that, the hosts are extremely welcoming and kind. We'd love to go back some day.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming pension, run by an incredibly kind and hardworking couple. Despite the heavy snowstorm disrupting transportation, they went above and beyond to assist us, ensuring we reached our destination smoothly. Their generosity didn’t stop there—they even brought our skis to the bus station, making our departure hassle-free. The warmth and hospitality we experienced made our trip even more special.
