The view from our semi-double room of the sea was amazing, as well as from most of the front part of the hotel because of the glass all around. The hotel is new (just opened in April, I was told) and modern with a nice pantry on the second floor, in addition to a common kitchen island on the first floor. There was plenty of seating inside the main lobby area as well as outside to gather and relax. On the second floor, there's a balcony with a couple of tables and chairs for drinks and meals, and a bigger table and more chairs in the loft lobby. Yes, there's a lift so cyclists can sleep with their bikes in their room! (Setoda is on the Shimanami Kaido after all) The bathroom are generous in proportion and facilities. The hotel has brand new bikes for free use by the guests, very handy for getting to the town and shops, and for sightseeing. There are lots of nice touches provided by the hotel, like a towel basket for each guest. The furnishing and finishing are simple but immaculate. What else can I say? We didn't want to leave...!

Fantastic property with great views across the bay, outdoor bbq facilities and microwave indoors with lots of crockery,cutlery etc. Traditional style bedrooms and a great host who couldn't do enough to help during my short stay.

Extremely well situated, fantastic view of the bay. Very kind host, cafe open late (midnight). Traditional house, renovated. If you're allergic to hearing the other guests, avoid. If you like soft and whispering ambient, go for it.

From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed by Yuji and Junko. They picked us up from the ferry. The house we stayed at was comfortabel and clean. The breakfast was really nice. Renting (big😃) bikes was a piece of cake with the help from Yuji. Over the days we got to know Yuji and Junko. They're kind and pleasant people. Don't hesitate about booking your stay here! We had an amazing time.

Fabulous stay here, cannot recommend enough. The main thing that stood out for us was the service, the man who showed us round was so helpful, gave us really detailed directions to places, restaurant recommendations with little details, and helped us hire bikes and a canoe. Nothing was too small for him to help us with, and he even fixed the outside shade covering in the pouring rain!! The villa itself was perfect for what we needed, right on the beach (check for jellyfish!) and on the main cycle routes. Shops about a 20-30min cycle ride away, and there were great facilities for cooking. We had a BBQ three out of the four nights we stayed. Overall an 11/10 stay and would definitely recommend, and would love to stay again if we ever come back to Japan!! Thank you!!

Nice hostel, everything seems to be new, clean, dormitory only for ladies available, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, close to railway station, nice details like towel, shampoo and other toiletries, coffee available all day, good value for money.
