Not to say very traditional but it is definitely a rare opportunity to get to stay in a Japanese house and experience how normal Japanese live in their daily lives. The place is really clean and comfy. Most importantly , the owner is very friendly and approachable , being very helpful and kind ! He shares a lot of travel tips and recommended spots that only the local will know.

This house was a dream. We really enjoyed our stay here; we were very sad when we had to leave! We felt like in a movie, it was truly amazing having the opportunity to stay in a traditional Japanese house. Some parts of the house could be in better shape, but it didn't affect our experience much. We do not recommend this house if you don't have a car. We had a bit of difficulty when first arriving at the house with our GPS, but we could finally make it work when we searched for a place near the house instead of for the house address itself. Very recommendable place, thank you truly for this amazing experience!

Beautiful traditional Japanese house. The host, Hiro san, was very kind and helpful. The futon was very comfortable to sleep in and the bath prepared by Hiro san was really relaxing.

Lovely riverside property so really easy access to the canals. A comfortable walk to train station or can take a bus (we did both). Our host was a lovely super friendly lady. Cute town

This apartment is lovely , so clean and everything you could possibly want for your stay , kitchen has all you need if you want to cook and there are plenty of places to eat nearby! The host is so friendly and helped us choose somewhere dinner ( he has a great list showing what type of cuisine and location from the accommodation) highly recommended 😀
