Absolutely brilliant! This was a 5-star hotel service. Monika and her crew provided an outstanding experience. We spent two nights at Retro Kampot but we wish we could stay more! We rented a scooter from them on a very reasonable price (6 usd/24 hours) and visited Bokor Mountain (lovely one day trip). They let us use the kayaks for free, so we did the beautiful loop on the river. Every time you sit in the common area, you are served with water and fruits. The food they are cooking is super delicious. This is definitely the place to be if you visit Kampot!

An excellent place to stay when you are in Kampot (a nice area!). The property is clean with friendly staff and all the basic amenities that you would expect. The shower has excellent pressure, the towels smell nice and the bed sheets are silky smooth. As an added bonus, a lovely, little breakfast was served. Moreover, I arrived well before the check-in time, but I was welcomed with open arms. I can highly recommend this property for both short- and long-term stays if you happen to be in the area.

Our family of 18 stayed during khmer new year and it was great !! Location was excellent , 2 minute walk to the market , riverside , durian etc.. and no noisy neighbours.Mart just round the corner. Owner staff were really friendly and happy to help, also facilitated scooter rental. -Strong AC and Hot shower with good water pressure. -20 liter bottle of water in the room, fridge/freezer ,cups,plates , kettle coffee and BIG MUGS for morning cofee 👍👍👍👍 -plenty of outdoor space , garden , seating and safe moto parking. Great place for families, couples or solo travellers. Will definitely recommend and stay again 👍👍👍

Everything was good! It’s a wonderful peaceful place with a lot of plants, private terraces near each room, sports area to do your exercises. Mattresses are soo comfortable. Everything is clean and new. And there is a big bottle of water in the room, which is really important when it’s hot outside. Lou and Leo are very hospitable, nice and friendly! We enjoyed our staying at this guesthouse! Thank you!

The bed was the best I’ve slept in whilst in Asia. My Unit and Pool was clean. The TV was a novelty. The location quiet, and less than 1km stroll to some great restaurants and supermarket. Hired a motorbike from the home stay for two days and went to Climbodia, the la plantation pepper farm, and also to the local national park. The owner was super friendly, helpful and kind, and the kids were lovely and sweet to have around.

I have been living in Cambodia over 9 years, and I have had a lot of different experiences staying at various hotels/guesthouses, and this little place was absolutely the best experience I have had with accommodations here. The price was affordable, and the room was big. Moreover, the location was perfect, being only a 5-minute or so drive from the durian roundabout. It was far enough from the city center to be quiet, and close enough that transport didn't cost a lot going back back and forth to and from the city center every day. I got better sleep here than I have had at any other accommodation in Cambodia, with it being completely silent every night and the bed/pillows being just right. The breakfast every morning was fantastic (the pork and eggs with baguette is recommended), and the owners were extremely gracious and helpful. I highly recommend that anyone coming to Kampot stay here!

Family owned hotel, super nice people, the daughter speaks a good english, perfect location, 5 min to the Old Market, 5 min to the Old Bridge, 5 min to the Durian roundabout, quiet outside and inside the hotel, super clean, phantastic bed and matress, good working AC, clean bathroom with a really good warm shower with enough pressure.
