best accommodation in Sri Lanka so far! absolutely gorgeous garden with clean and fresh pool, rooms were nice, built in European style, so it has a separate shower, which comes in hand. But the owners and staff were absolutely the best. they were really nice and kind the whole stay, we had a lot of fun together. Mrs. Alexandra was lovely, kind and helpful all the time. Mr. Nelson is the best cook in Sri Lanka, we really enjoyed his cuisine. There is no chance finding better accommodation. also the beach is calm and without people.

We loved Channa Villa and Bentota so much we booked an extra night, if we'd know we would have spent less time in Mirissa and more time here. The standard of accommodation was the best we had stayed in through out the whole of our trip to Sri Lanka. The rooms were a good size, beds were comfortable, with soft pillows and clean linin. We had a fridge in our room and the use of a shared kitchen which was spotless and we were able to make our own tea and even make our own toast for breakfast as we had bought bread from the local supermarket. Close to the railway line, but you could hardly hear the trains from our room, a short 5 minute walk to the beach, which was the best beach by far. Plus close to a few restaurants dotted along the railway track. And of course friendly staff

Sithari and her sons Dinush and Sahan were truly wonderful accommodating hosts. Room nice and spacious with lovely big balcony overlooking garden. Breakfast was delicious and super generous. Hosts always available to answer questions and offer advice.

What I liked most was the kindness of friendliness of the fellow local tourists who stayed with us. There were three ladies who became very friendly with us and we shared our food with them. It was a unique experience.

I would say that Charika Villa is just a perfect example of hospitality. The room is lovely, the furniture is new and pleasant to use, and the bathroom is great size and even has a heater. The host is amazingly supportive. He found us a great surf instructor and helped us with transport but never promoted unwanted services. The breakfast was also great and peacocks and squirrels running around were so lovely. If you are looking for a place where you can rest you mind - that is a great choice.

This accommodation is very spacious, clean on the top floor with a spacious balcony and a beautiful view of the green trees. The breakfast was very good. It is only a 5min walk to the beach which offers several options. The hosts are very nice and helpful. As a female solo traveler I felt very comfortable and save.
