The first thing that strikes me is the jaw-dropping view in front of the guest house. The place in itself was nice with a homely atmosphere with super-friendly staff, especially the manager (think his name was Sanath). I checked in late in the afternoon which was well after lunchtime and they were super nice to offer me a fresh and tasty meal. I enjoyed this kind of hospitality throughout my 2 day-long stay. This was exactly the place I was looking for when I planned my visit to Ella.

Nice and comfortable room very close to Ella main road. Hosts are very nice and friendly. Place only has 1 room for guests, making it extremely personal and enjoyable stay. Shower and bathroom was very clean.

The owner, Asanka, met us on the road and took us to the hotel. At that moment, there was a power cut in the area and Asanka did everything to make our evening wonderful - he lit candles so that there was light, prepared tea for us and treated us to a pie. He really wanted us to be comfortable, it's very nice! Soon the electricity returned. the rooms were clean, nice neat bed, clean bathroom, shower with hot water! Each room had bottled drinking water. In the morning you can see an amazing view from the balcony - you can see the mountains, the waterfall, on the other hand you can look at the train (they don't run at night, so we slept great). There were no mosquitoes and flies! We also had a wonderful breakfast in the morning! There was tea, milk, scrambled eggs, toast with butter and jam, and a wide variety of fruits. The place was wonderful. Located in very peaceful area. Apartment was clean and neat. You will find a lot of monkeys around you. Breakfast is great, the host will set it up on your terrace and they are wonderful. Overall great experience.
