We had such a lovely stay at Wingate Homestay. The owner was so kind and welcoming, and she cooked us a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast every morning, always with plenty of fresh fruit – a real highlight of our stay! The room was charming and comfortable, with a mosquito net and a fan to keep things cool. The bathroom was modern and clean, with reliable hot water in the shower. The location is excellent – just a 5-minute walk into the main town, making it easy to explore Ella while still enjoying a peaceful setting. We originally planned to stay for a shorter time but ended up staying 3 nights because we liked it so much. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Ella!

Host Gayan and Sisira went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and their staff member Ruban was very kind and helpful our check in to check out. Sisira pick us up from the Ella station with his tuk tuk. The room is fantastic and very latge,it's private and has views of the mountain.large bed room with big belcony, big comfortable bed and big bathroom.the room has tea and coffee.When we want to have a cup of tea or coffee, the necessary ingredients are in the room.our room was so relaxing and very comfortable. Their mother cooks morning breakfast.it was very large and delicious different foods.and they have small restaurant.also cannot go to the Ella city to take the dinner.we order Pasta and Noodles. they served it within 20 minutes. Thank you so much Sisira and Gayan.we enjoyed Shining Green View when we stayed.
