So many things to love about this place! Our family of four (2 kids; 5yo and 3yo) stayed for 10 days in the family room (with 2 big beds) and we had the most amazing time. The location is second to none - just a few minutes walk to the beach and a few minutes further to all the best cafes and restaurants. Nadeeka and her husband are incredibly kind and were wonderful hosts, always ready to help with anything we needed. They helped us with surfboard rental, tuk tuk rental, airport transfers...even little things like letting us dry our towels on the main washing lines and showing us local shortcuts. The room was much bigger than we expected, and super comfortable. We barely used the AC and although the beds are fitted with mosquito nets, we barely needed to use them which was a pleasant surprise. There are mosquitos and other creepy crawlies outside though. We also loved the semi-outdoor bathroom and having a small kitchen attached to the room just made life easier (the cafe was not opened yet while we were there). Overall we loved our stay at Jungle Escape and will definitely be back!

The guesthouse is located in a very peaceful and quiet place, not far from the beach and stores. The owner, Paba, was very helpful and kind! Would recommend staying here!

We were meant to be at Wilson’s place for 3 days and ended up staying 7. Loved Hiriketiya and staying at Wilson’s was so nice. It’s close enough to the town center but far enough that you only hear the sound of the waves (it’s like 10 mins walk). The rooms are nice and the place is kinda new so all furniture is in perfect condition. There is a little garden to chill out which tends to have shadow so a perfect area to spend the time. There is a place with pool like 4 mins walking where if you buy food or drink you can chill out in the pool, so nice addition to the area and a great plan to do from Wilson’s (Belika). Rumesh the owner of Wilson place is so nice and accommodating, you can also do laundry there if you need for a low fare. He arranged his brother to drive us to Matara for also lower fare than what we got quoted in town. Overall nice place nice owner modern furniture. Totally recommended.

Property is very aesthetically pleasing and nice attention to detail. Great location directly on the beach with great surf/party vibe! Shafni is AMAZING and couldn’t have done enough for us. He is a credit to dots bay house.

The places is very close to the beach so you can literally pick the surf board, and walk towards it.The breakfast - Brunch concept is amazing. The Yoga sessions are included in the rooms stay and is a great workout post surfing. The staff are very courteous and warm. They are available even post working hours if there's any help required. Great stay.

I originally booked for one night and ended up staying for seven! That’s how lovely my time at Mango Hiriketiya was. The room is spacious, the bed is comfy, and the ceiling fan is just right (I even felt cold some nights, which was perfect if you like sleeping with a sheet). The best part of the house is the family, super warm, welcoming, and incredibly kind. They greet you with a juice on arrival, serve a simple and delicious breakfast every morning, and sometimes offer a snack or tea in the afternoon. I was lucky to be there during Poya Day and they even invited me to join them for the local parade. The communication with them is also top! The room is upstairs with a private entrance, and there’s a kitchen available for basic cooking and a dining table. They helped me with my laundry as well. It’s located close to the main road and a short walk to the beach. I enjoy walking, so for me, the location was perfect.

The location was fantastic and the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming - they made us some juice and gave us some fruits when we arrived. The room was very spacious and the fan kept us cool overnight.

Beautiful spot. Area the house is in is currently being built but no noise at all from construction. Lovely family who own the place and go above and beyond to help you. About a 10 min walk to the main centre of town. It’s nice being a little way out of the hustle. Very clean rooms and new amenities. Would definitely stay again!
