It's a very very charming boutique hotel. It has an Italian design. The manager speaks good English and knows what hospitality is. He organised everything for us, was genuine interested and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast is also good. And it's easy in this hotel to also meet other travellers (with families).
The views from the hotel are stunning, it's a little bit out of the city center but therefore also nice and quiet.

The lake view and quiet location are delightful in the morning. The guest house thrives primarily due to its two fantastic hosts, who took excellent care of me. Enjoying a beer and discussing politics with them was a warm and welcoming experience.
The recommended dance show is truly worth attending, even though the audience is predominantly white.

Our two hosts were remarkably friendly, attentive and helpful. While the accommodation is located on the outskirts of Kandy (and is thus very quiet - a big plus in our opinion), the city centre and all the major sights are easily reachable by tuktuk. Our corner room with a balcony had a beautiful view over the river and the surrounding countryside. The breakfast - especially the fresh fruit - was delicious, varied and more than we could eat.
