From arrival the hosts were super friendly - we were given a cold orange juice to sip on balcony with a beautiful view of Kandy. Our room was clean and bed very comfy (with lots of pillows and duvet and AC in room), bathroom was also nice and had soap/toilet roll! The breakfast in the morning was delicious - highly recommend getting if you stay (Sri lankan food and fruit / tea & coffee). The owner also drove us in tuk tuk to train station next day. Great price and a beautiful view from the location, with some really nice restaurants nearby

Beautifully restored villa with three lovely guest rooms. The owner has used his artistic skills to make this one of the most enchanting boutique property anywhere. The breakfasts were delicious and the location is a short tuk tuk ride to the lake, downtown and nearby restaurants. Even comes with a small pool to cool off in on those hot days. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Mystique Hideout. It is a short walk out of the centre on a hill. Because of this it was quiet and we had an amazing view from the balcony. We had breakfast and a few times diner at the accommodation. Both really good. I would absolutely advice ordering your diner here! Homecooked and very tasty and healthy. Suraj and Aileen were incredibly hosts. Very warm, helpful and welcoming people. The Wifi in the whole accommodation worked great and fast.

An oasis of calm and tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of Kandy City, our stay in Kandy Tree Tops was one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka. The rooms were large and very comfortable, breakfasts were delicious and varied, and the location is perfect as its just a few minutes by tuktuk into to all the main attractions. But what sets this place apart are it's hosts, Salani and family, who are the most welcoming, generous and friendly hosts you could ask for. Seldom in all of my travels have I encountered a place so welcoming, comfortable, peaceful, with kind hosts and great meals at such a super affordable price. Staying here is a sheer delight, in a quiet neighborhood next to the Mahaweli River in an architectural home on four levels, with lots of space to be as solitary or as social as you care to be. And the home-cooked meals (breakfast was provided as part of the room rate) were simply exceptional, with generous portions and great desserts. Just an outstanding experience!

The room with the view was really spacious and it was worth booking this stunning view on the valley. The family was really helpful with great tips and travel advices. Breakfast was very tasty. It was wonderful to have such a quiet spot when you went all day in the busy town.
