The family who owns the place is so nice- they have arranged everything from whale watching tour to tuktuk drive. The location of the hotel is great, rooms are comfortable and clean and have nice jungle view, you can watch monkeys playing on the trees from the balcony. We liked the hotel so much we reserved it also for our second stay in Mirissa.

Lovely homestay property with a very friendly cute family. Only 5 mins walk from Mirissa beach and also only 5 mins from the Main Street. Fantastic breakfast with 3 options available. The lentil curry with coconut sambal was amazing

Ishan & Jenny were so welcoming and friendly and put lots of effort in to make the stay personal. Local food cooked by Ishan's mum was delicious, recommended for a real Sri Lankan experience. Bird house is a very fitting name as you're surrounded by many different bird noises.

Owners Indu and Khomudu were wonderful hosts. The room was spotless, featuring a renovated bathroom with hot water.
