First of all, I have to praise the manager of the hotel. He always helped us with anything we needed, from checking us in early to organizing breakfast, booking activities and arranging transport. He also gave us tips for great snorkeling spots and good restaurants and made it possible for us to have rice and curry for breakfast instead of the usual choices. The hotel itself was also great. Just a few minutes from the beach and close to a variety of good restaurants. It was very clean and very well maintained. We felt very comfortable the whole 9 days we were there! It happened more than once that we met other tourists in town who were unhappy with their accommodation, but as for my boyfriend and I, we can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

We loved our stay here! The location is perfect - right on a stunning beach with gentle waves & the water is the perfect temperature. Just a short walk to some great bars & restaurants. Mandy was an amazing host who was always up for a chat & a laugh & was super helpful arranging tours or transport etc. We highly recommend!

Our hosts Sitthu, Vinoth and Justin took good care of us and we felt at home at Jeys Place ! We had the opportunity to discover some secrets of the Sri Lankan kitchen, the location of the place is nice and close to the beach and the garden is really nice to relax. We highly recommend staying here for having a nice stay in Nilaveli ! :)

Cozy bungalow with big terrace and beautiful views. Good mattress. Nicely decorated. A big bottle of water and a hot water kettle plus tea was provided. Good wifi. We were the only guests and enjoyed peace and tranquility. 2 minutes to the beach.

The owner was nice, very welcoming. He arranged a transport from Trincomalee for a reasonable price. We were offered tea. We had towels and we had a good WiFi. The house is a few minutes walk from the beach, very reasonable. The owner said he had a boat and could arrange a trip to Pigeon island, but finally we didn't go and we stayed on the beach in Nilaveli.

    The location in Nilaveli is perfect. The beach is 5 minutes walking. It's a very quiet area, perfect to relax. The home stay has a good vibes atmosphere, with a garden with "hamacas", and full day open kitchen. The staff was nice and friendly. The room was very cheap and it has all the basic things you may need. I arrived very early and they stored my luggage, also in the departure day.

    We took extremely cheap room without AC for about 10 dolars for two persons for 1 night. We got what we paid for.... There was no problems just bring your own toilet paper...,.. Locality is good less than 5 minutes to the beach. There are few good restaurants near guesthouse too.

    We enjoyed the silence, harmony, friendliness and beautiful area in Amal’s Paradies! Perfect location to slow down and to discover Nilaveli, Trincomalee, Uppuveli,… Amal is a very nice host. Always helpful, available before and during our stay. We will def come back to this beautiful place. It was also very nice to see that the extremely lovable dog was allowed to have such a nice and quiet place to live. We really enjoyed his presence. a soul of an animal.

    Quiet and great location in Nilaveli, near the beach and a couple of good restaurants. The host and his family were very kind and helped us to arrange a scooter, snorkelling kits, breakfast, and other tips. Big, comfy, fresh and clean room. The little garden and terrace was perfect to chill out. We had a lovely time!
