We had a wonderful stay at this unique accommodation right in the middle of the jungle! With rooftop viewpoints, a tranquil pool, and outstanding service, this place truly offers a special experience. Even though it's located a bit off the beaten path, the atmosphere more than makes up for it—you might not want to leave at all. The included breakfast was so generous it practically lasted us all day. In the evening, there was a great selection of local and Western dishes made with high-quality ingredients (though portions were on the smaller side). The peaceful pool area was perfect for unwinding, and the staff really took Sri Lankan hospitality to the next level. Occasional evening power fluctuations were handled smoothly with a temporary diesel generator, but it switched off well before bedtime, leaving only the soothing jungle sounds. For mobile work, this place may not be ideal—the Wi-Fi relies on a mobile connection, which wasn't strong enough for demanding online tasks. But for a relaxing holiday segment in Sri Lanka, this place gets our full recommendation! We arrived by public bus from Kandy, changing at Dambulla, and then took a Tuk Tuk from the Sigiriya bus stop to the accommodation for 1000 rupees. During our stay, we rented a scooter in Sigiriya, while other guests used rental Tuk Tuks to get around.

This home stay is just everything u need in Sigiriya. perfectly located in the middle of the village. The hosts are very attentive and help a lot if u want to arrange activities or transportation for a fair price (arranged 4:45 am tuktuk for sunrise hike, safary, transport to Dambulla and other cities. They also offered us a dinner for 1800 rupees, which was cheap compared to local restaurants and the best food we had in the area!! Price value ration is definitely good, especially since u ought to pick an accommodation in this range cause entrance fees and activities are quite pricy there. Highly recommend!

In our opinion, it was the best accommodation we were able to stay at in Sri Lanka. A great location, surrounded by nature and a tranquility that allows one to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Additionally, clean rooms and a natural wooden decor – exactly what we love. Excellent food! The planned one night was extended, and for that, the generous and sweet family is responsible. They are extremely hospitable and always smiling. Very clean, well-equipped and comfortable cottages side by side set in a beautiful garden with cheeky monkeys hopping from tree to tree whilst you eat breakfast al fresco. It was worth paying more to stay at this place. Garden full of birds, squirrels, peacocks. Very relaxing and quiet and private. Spotlessly clean and air-conditioned. Bathroom products supplied, a small fridge and tea and coffee and water. Host couldn't do enough for us, gave helpful advice, drove us around for a low fee, and was attentive and kind. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh juice, fruits, hoppers and Dahl. Highly recommend. Also, for dinner, I can recommend Mom's Kitchen across the road for their Sri Lankan curry only 1100 rupees.
