We had the best stay at Maritime Nest Cabanas ! I really recommend staying there if you want to be close to Tangalle and the beaches nearby AND staying in a super peaceful and incredibly beautiful environment, close to the lagoon. The cabanas are beautiful with a super nice terrace, very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The pool and the common parts are beautiful too. All the staff members were lovely and very caring, answering our every needs, and helped us organising scooter rental and tours. + the breakfast is huuuuge & delicious, we also had one dinner at the restaurant, a big fresh fish, it was awesome. I obviously recommend 1000% !

Wonderful, very clean accommodation with the most beautiful pool we’ve experienced so far. Very friendly and family-like service, and an incredible variety of exotic wildlife, especially birds. Secluded dream beaches within walking distance (though unfortunately very rough at this time of year). Lots of restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away. A true piece of authentic Sri Lanka. Thanks also for the nice birthday surprise for my daughter! Unforgettable stay!

We had a really wonderful stay here at this little haven in Tangalle! The location is perfect, just a 2 min walk from the beach, yet you feel hidden away in a little jungle paradise. Agra was the kindest host, she was so thoughtful, bringing us a fresh fruit snack in the afternoon, and always on hand with a smile to help with anything. The room was a really good size, and unbelievable value for money - highly recommend staying here!

Perfect room, view, service and value. It’s so nice there I wish I stayed longer, I highly recommend staying 2 nights minimum there just to have time to enjoy the place.

Everything was fantastic!! Location by the beach was perfect and food was delicious. Owner and people working there are so friendly and you feel yourself as a part of a big nice family while staying there. I highly recommend this one, will be back one day!!

The bed was big and very comfortable. Hosting family is super sweet and willing to help with any requests. Food was also delicious.

Spacious rooms, beautiful gardens and a nice pool. Lots of wildlife around. There is a restaurant onsite that reserves good food. Friendly and helpful staff. 20 minute walk to the beach (there is a shortcut but it was flooded when we were there).

Everything was perfect! The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great. It's just a few steps to the beach, and the view is incredible. The best stay I've had in southern Sri Lanka!

Modern, clean property and very close to beaches. Host and all staff were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious and extremely yummy. Wi-Fi excellent. Thoroughly recommend you stay here.
