Extreamly clean, comfortable and quiet place. A very spacious room. Owner and family couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful and went out of their way on a number of occasions to assist us and other guests during our stay. The owners son also spoke with us at length about the history of the house, the town and Sri Lanka, he was very knowledgeable. Well located with restaurants close by and a lovely walk to Lovers Leap waterfall. Great value for money and a good breakfast to start the day. Definitely highly recommended

AMAZING !!! Best view in Sri Lanka , sit back relax, enjoying your breakfast or dinner overlooking Ella Rock, litte Adams peak and a waterfall perfect !!! Staff all wonderful and friendly, just a short stroll or a tuk tuk ride down into town. Came for one nite stayed 3. Will definitely come back to Ambiente guest house.

We stayed in the department for one night, the rooms are clean and large. Villa with a beautiful view. There is hot water. In the morning we were made a wonderful breakfast with fruit, omelet and local breakfasts. It was very tasty.

The property could not have been in a better location for our stay - right beside the start of the trail to Nine Arch Bridge, and a short walk from Little Adam’s Peak too. The centre of Ella town was also less than 10 minutes walk. Upali was the kindest host, and couldn’t have been more helpful. Breakfast every morning was delicious - the best coconut roti we have had on our trip 😄 would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!!

Very nice view from the balcony, perfect for breakfast. The place is not in the center of Ella which means it is very calm and you can observe some animals. The staff is super nice and drove us several times with their Tuk Tuk to Ella and back at any desired time. I can only recommend.
