Great experience, overlooking lake ohrid. The hosts were super friendly and made us a traditional Macedonian dinner, which was excellent. The rooms were nice and comfortable with a deck. Can’t recommend this place enough, great hosts!

The room was very clean and looked much better than the photos uploaded here. Actually it looked brand new and nice. We advised the owner to change the pictures right away, since people could definitely be mislead by them. The owner was friendly and helpful. Stavre is a genuinely great person. I instantly felt comfortable and relaxed at this property. The rooms are spacious and airy, which kept them nice and cool in the summer months. The bathrooms are well designed and ergonomic. Whilst it is a bit further out of town, the centre is a short 20 minute walk or so. I liked staying here because it was less crowded and noisy than the main promenade. There were also a good selection of burek shops and cafes nearby, but without the price tag of the centre. I visited Macedonia for a marathon swim and Stavre was kind enough to let me leave some things at the villa for a very reasonable price. If/when I come back to Ohrid, this is where I will stay.

The location of the hotel is excellent, as it is in an alley on the lakeshore, but just away from the noise of the main street, approximately 10 minutes walking from the old downtown and the main attractions. The room was very clean and comfortable and there was a comfortable parking area just in front of the building. Although I booked with breakfast, as it was opening a bit late, I couldn't make use of that so they kindly offered to give me the money for the breakfast back.
