But you get the local vibes and for the price, it's 200% worth it. The location of the hotel, on the beach, is like nowhere else. There are plenty of exotic fish right in front of the hotel. You will have the calm and serenity that you will not find on any other island. Mahibadhoo is the perfect base to stay in the Maldives, so you can also visit the islands around, such as Dhigurah or Omadhoo. The diving experience was a major highlight for me. The instructor is very experienced and professional.

Hassan and his team made sure we had the most amazing time possible. We were picked up by the jetty, greeted wirh fresh coconut and flowers. As we are divers, we had our wonderful breakfast quite early, and were always spoiled. In the evening Hassan would wait for us in case we needed help for the next day. He organized the ferry boat, recommended a dive center with nitrox, and answered all our questions. After a day or two we called this place our home. Our expectations were exceeded, we wish Hassan a prosperous future and lots of relaxed guests.

I had an exceptionally enjoyable experience at this guest house. The beachfront location is truly breathtaking, and the staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful, I went once snokelling and it was really fun. They picked me up from the harbor and driving me to the guest house in a quaint three-wheeled car. Upon checking in, they gave me a tour of the island, highlighting key buildings and guiding me to tourist-friendly beach areas. The breakfast was good, served in front of the beach in the shadow so very enjoyable. My favourite part was that at 5.30pm we went to see stingrays on the beach and then nurse sharks from the pier. it is the only island I have been to that offers this activity (for free!) it was a lot of fun. I have visited some local islands in the South Arii Atoll but Omadhoo is definitely among the most beautiful and peaceful.

Everything was great. Very nice and helpfull staff. Delicious local food. The island is simply wonderful with a beautiful coral reef. We spent an unforgettable vacation. If we had known it would be so good, we would have stayed longer.

nice clean small hotel close to the bikini beach and some good restaurants. the personal was very friendly and helped booking the speedboats from and to male. the communication on whatsapp worked perfectly. on new years eve they invited us to a nice buffet dinner close to the beach together with other hotels :)
