It is rare to receive such a warm, hospitable welcome. The hosts received us with activities suggestions, maps of local sights and eateries and were open to accommodating our extra needs. The location was really convenient on a quiet street just a few minutes walk from the main area. Cozy hip coffeeshops are right on the corner as well as places preferred by Georgetown locals. Key destinations such as Armenian street or famous jetis are also very conveniently close. The shared spaces and rooms are beautifully designed with a minimalistic approach. The room and facilities were particularly clean and we would surely stay here again!

Aayu Stewart is in a beautiful heritage house, the house feels very luxurious. In the room, we were welcomed with a kind personalised letter to wish us welcome. There is free filtered drinking water, plenty of kitchen facilities and bread to try. The owner was the biggest plus of our size - they spoke English very well, were incredibly helpful and usually replied within a few seconds (!!) with a detailed response to my questions.

I had a fantastic experience at this property! The apartment was incredibly comfortable and had all the amenities you could need. The washing machine and dryer were very convenient, and the kitchen area was fully equipped with a working stove, hood,fridge, microwave, toaster and all the necessary plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery—everything in perfect condition. The apartment was spacious and well-designed, with a dedicated area to place your shoes near the entrance and a comfy couch to relax on. There was also a TV for entertainment, and the whole space was kept cool throughout the stay, thanks to the three air conditioners. The beds were large and very comfortable, and there were plenty of mirrors throughout the apartment, which gave it a nice open feel. The bathroom was spotless and well-maintained, with four towels provided, along with shampoo and shower gel. The two large beds and a spacious cupboard made the stay even more convenient. One of the highlights was the swimming pool located on the 5th floor—a great place to unwind. After booking, the host contacted me with precise directions and detailed information, which made check-in super smooth. They were incredibly helpful and always responded quickly whenever I had a question. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. I felt right at home and will definitely come back again in the future. Highly recommended!

It’s a traditional shophouse with over 100 years history. The room was very spacious and newly renovated so it’s full equipped. We arrived early morning but was allowed an early checkin. The staff was very helpful, thoughtful and hospitable. We really enjoyed our stay there. Would definitely stay there if we visit Penang again!

It was a very pleasant stay for me and my family who came down to Penang for Thaipusam celebration. The host was very welcoming and helpful in helping us. The house was kept very clean with facilities were very well maintained. I also was very pleased with the host checking on us after we checked in and also asking if was any problem with our stay voluntarily rather than wait for us to complaint which not many host will do. She was very professional and yet very welcoming. The house was kept very clean. My entire family was very pleasant with our stay and will recommend the place for our extended family and friends should they visit Penang.
