On arrival I felt immediately at peace as it feels like home and has the best energy. Shekhar is very generous with sharing his time to show guests around the hidden gems of Bhaktapur and knowledge of Nepali and Newari culture. Staying here wasn’t just a place to sleep, it was an experience of getting to really know the city and Nepali way of life. Staying here also reminded me of the important things in life - good company, community, music, spirituality, art, food, learning and exploring. It was one of the highlights of two months travelling Nepal which speaks volumes :)

At Milla Guest House we felt at home. The location is beautiful and very convenient. The room is clean and in the winter time there is a gas stove to heat it. The owners of the house were wonderful, pampering us with tea, treats and a delicious dinner. We would 100% recommend staying here.

Very welcoming & kind family, they shared their culture with us and we felt really like a part of the household. Rooms are clean & simple with everything you need (hot shower, fan, some storage room...) rooftop with view over the town & temples. Perfect location just behind Nyatapola temple in the center of the town.

Such a lovely hotel. It's obviously a budget hotel at this price but we were made so welcome and comfortable by the amazing owners. The hotel is just minutes from all of the attractions. Breakfast on the rooftop with it's amazing views was plentiful and varied each day. Constant WiFi and hot water. No hesitation recommending this delightful hotel.

The hotel is so beautiful , with the newari architectures ! breakfast was good enough ! they serve bread , pancakes,fruits and many more ! staffs were very helpful , i had a confusion about visiting bhaktapur but the hotel staffs guided me a lot . Deebesh and Sajan were amazing, very helpful and really nice people. They helped me in everything I needed and ensured my stay here was the best. They are reopening the business and that's why it's taking a bit to roll, but if you want to have a nice and humble experience in the city this is the best place. 100% worth coming.
