Frank was AMAZING! The hotel is a small boutique and truly lives up to its title. Frank was incredibly nice, highly communicative, and a lovely person overall. I absolutely adored his guidebook. Everything was clean and surprisingly well-maintained. While breakfast wasn't extravagantly fancy, it was satisfying enough. The hotel has a fantastic location, just a 3-minute walk to Parque Kennedy, the heart of Lima.

This is not called a Family hostel for nothing. After just 3 nights here we felt like family. Arriving late at night the place didn’t seem very special, just another place to rest our heads. But the family that run the place soon made it feel special. They were so warm and welcoming, and the whole setup of the place makes it feel like you’re staying as a guest in their home as they’re always around to help, or just to chat. And their 3 cats are there to keep you company too. The hostel is very well located between Barranco and Miraflores, with both in easy walking distance. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The hostel is kept very clean and secure. With nice shared areas in the rooftop terrace and breakfast area. We had a double room with en-suite which was compact but functional. The bed was comfy and there was no noise. A bit more space would perhaps have been nice. We had so many good tips from our hosts about places to see, where to eat, and even where to get a good service laundry. These were a real help. If we ever come back to Barranco (and I really hope we will) this will be our first stop.

We had a fantastic stay! The host was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and cozy, and everything was perfectly organized. We would definitely come back.

This is a find, offering remarkable value for the price. The location is excellent, close to transportation, very safe, and there are supermarkets, grocery and drug stores, and restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was very good, including scrambled eggs and freshly squeezed mango juice. The owner also fed me even though I woke up late. The room was very clean and nicely furnished including a good mattress and good sheets and towels, and tv and internet that worked. The building is also interesting, the type of construction one no longer sees, with high ceilings and thick walls. As noted, the owners are very hospitable. I will stay here again.

Ursula and everyone were lovely and welcoming, always offering help with tours and advice. The homemade breakfasts were great, the location is only a short walk from the main tourist areas so very easy to explore Lima. The layout has lots of cool lounge spaces for relaxing or doing work. Upstairs rooftop patio!
