The hosts! Possibly the best host experience of my life! Yenifer and her family were so incredibly lovely during our stay. It felt like being part of the family: from the moment they insisted on picking us up from the train station to conversation over breakfast to letting us store our bags an entire day to making sure we didn't forget our medicine in the fridge. Then, to cap it all, after we left, we thought we had left a small bag in Machu Picchu. Not only did the Inkari team look everywhere in the hostal, but they went down to the train station and spoke with the staff there and also made a lost items report that was detailed and effective (long story, short: we got our bag). They didn't need to do any of this! I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay and, especially, these people!

This was a lovely place if you want to rest and relax! There is a nice cafeteria at the entrance on the first floor. The bathroom and shower were the best we had. Good hot water. We scaped from another hotel and we were lucky to book here. There is not common areas only the coffee place if you want to socialize, but to sleep and relax is the better option. My son and I loved the place, we felt clean and safe here. The staff was very friendly, kind and HELPFUL. The place is very closed to the hotsprings and to many restaurants and stores.

Let's face it, the only reason you are there is to go to Machu Picchu - this hotel is perfect for that. This hotel is situated right above the bus stop and one alleyway up from where you buy your bus tickets. We ate our breakfast which was perfectly adequate (scrambled eggs, bread, fruit, cereal, coffee etc.) at 5am and stored one of our bags in the designated locked room before getting the bus up for 6am entrance to the site.

Had an extremely comfortable and relaxing stay! The hotel is situated on a hill, providing a peaceful and private atmosphere. The interior of the hotel room was impeccably clean. The owner was incredibly attentive and speaks excellent English, helping me with purchasing Machu Picchu tickets and suggesting local attractions. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.
