This place is really amazing! It is even more beautiful and spacious than in the pictures. We stayed here for like 10 days. The room is beautiful and comfortable. The hospitality is amazing. They arranged a brand new bike for us, ordered pizza’s for us and gave us coffee when we asked for it during the day. The breakfast is really good, even the best we had during our stay in the Philippines and we liked the fresh fruits a lot that came with the breakfast. On the bike it is a like a 10 minute drive to El Nido center. We loved it to stay in this quiet area. Lio beach was our favorite beach in El Nido and it was a 5 minute drive from Casa Buko. Thank you so much to Rose, her husband, sister and Vera for making this place feeling like home ❤️

If you want a nice relaxing beach holiday on a secluded beach, then The Sanctuary is the place to go. Gorgeous beach 5 mins walk from a local fishing village. The sanctuary only has 4 rooms and has a good family vibe. The owners, Dean and Jen treat you as one of the family and are very hospitable. The staff are absolutely fantastic. Shirley was always around to help out with anything you needed, or just to answer questions about village life or Filipino customs in general, or anything. Her husband Elmar was always available to drive you wherever you wanted to go in the tuk tuk ( for a small fee) Shirley’s brother Chris is the chef and makes lovely food. They all made me feel so at home, and did all they could to make my stay memorable and special.

Amazing place with a wonderful landlady. Everything is new and clean. Perfect and clean beach with lot of restaurants and bars, but absolutely quiet! A little bit difficult access will quickly change to an obvious advantage.

Little gem right on the beach running by a lovely family. Very quiet away from everything. Not far from Duli beach, better get your own scooter from el nido downtown to get there.

I had a very pleasant stay at the lodge. The room was comfortable and well-equipped. The amenities were excellent, including free coffee, access to a microwave, and a clean, well-maintained bathroom. The terrace was useful for drying clothes. Free parking was also a big plus. Overall, a great value for a cozy and hassle-free stay.

Everyone was so friendly and hospitable. The breakfast included was good value for money. We were easily able to book tours and hire a scooter through the hostel. Location was excellent. We enjoyed our stay very much

Value for money based on El nido standards! Clean and fully equipped rooms (AC and hot water), centrally located, close to everything but so quiet No power outages (compared to other places I stayed inside El nido here they have a power generator which makes sense) The owner and staff are so helpful and try to make your stay in El nido the best ever As a solo traveler I felt 100% safe :)
