The kids and us had A beautiful stay in this guest house. Yhe staff was super friendly and helpful and the rooms were cleaned every day. The place is designed so beautiful and the kitchen was well equipped so we could coock our meals. There was even a nice terrace for some peace and quiet. We highly recommend it.

Everything was perfect! The studios are brand new so everything looks nice and clean. Inside there is everything you need,even if you need to cook, so I assume it is also good for longer stays. The checkin is automatic, but you keep in touch with Inês , who is very nice and helpful. They even left some water bottles and tea in the room, which was a nice gesture. The location is perfect, in the heart of old Coimbra. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to visit the city or traveling for work .

Susana was an amazing host, and little Arya too! They both warmly welcomed us with a wide smile, alongside some cute gifts, a cool Praxis beer and many treats for our dog... and a puppy bed that served as a soft pillow. It's not easy to find amazing stays that are truly pet-friendly as well. Location-wise, it's walking distance from Coimbra's downtown though it might still be better to use a car since it's a bit of a climb. There's a supermarket, a few cafés, and most points-of-interest south-west of the river close-by. The room has it own entrance and a small patio, which is convenient (Susana lived upstairs), and it was very cozy and well decorated. While it does not have a kitchenet per-se, it actually felt more like an apartment, and would be great for shorter stays or those looking to eat out more often (the city has tons of great restaurants). The microwave and coffee-maker should fulfill most needs.

The genuine warmth, welcome and ease of the host Ana is exceptional. Right from the moment of booking, to arrival and throughout my 4 day stay. The location is utterly fabulous, with an unbeatable view across the river below, extremely peaceful, yet within minutes of the old town bustle. Then the room itself is elegant, high ceilinged and couched in original wood paneling with an extraordinary sense of space. Sharing breakfast at the central table in the original kitchen was a highlight in the day, beautifully served and always some delicious fresh pastry, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, ham and irresistible fresh bread rolls. Couldn't find a more perfect place to stay - even the parking was easy and plentiful and right outside the door! I look forward to being back next time I'm wandering through Coimbra.

From staff to accommodations, we couldn't have asked for more. The property was a traditional, impeccably restored and decorated house, with clean and comfortable areas, and pleasant views. The staff was as nice as one can get, and made a fantastic breakfast (served in beautiful, traditional ceramics).
