The apartment is huge and fantastically furnished. The rooms are equipped with historical furniture, as is the salon. The bathrooms are stylish and the kitchen is very nicely furnished. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and we were able to have dinner in the restaurant. Zulmira and Luis are wonderful hosts and looked after us very well. Delicious food and wine for dinner. Breakfast was also excellent and Manuela looked after us very well. Lots of homemade preserves and cake.

Sérgio was lovely, what an incredible host! He sorted taxis for us to and from Ermida station, shared his homemade port, and made sure to check in with us on a regular (but not over the top) basis. This was an incredible break in a beautiful part of the world. Great value for money for our 4 nights! Others have noted the bed is on the shorter side, fine for me at 179cm, but only just. And no AC, but there is a fan. It's a no frills place in a lovely town, as long as you expect that you'll have a great time. . We'll stay again if we're ever back in the region!
