We had an amazing 3 day stay! We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived until we left. Eric, his wife and Elsa are wonderful hosts! The room was clean, organized and had a very warm vibe; the views are gorgeous and place is very well maintained. It was my girlfriend’s birthday, and we had fantastic dinner watching the sunset, and they even got us a heart-warming cake. The guesthouse is nearby beautiful places, such as Cascata da Pedra da Ferida and Fragas de São Simão, which makes it easy to know a little bit of the centre of Portugal. Perfect for couples looking to getaway from the commotion of daily life, and enjoy sometime with nature.

The couple running the villa are absolutely lovely, speak many languages and gave good advice such as suggesting the excellent Sete restaurant for dinner. Very beautiful building and rooms. We stayed in the pretty Rose Room. The breakfast was delicious too. It’s a short walk downhill into town.

The house is quite well located in Coimbra, you can easily walk to the city center or to the main touristic areas (university, church, restaurants). The staff was very kind and reactive, even during the evening. Our room was very clean, spacious and well decorated. The bed was confortable. We also very much appreciated the kitchen and terrasse.
