Mar Verde is very lovely. We had everything that we needed, and the owners are amazing. The home is near the beaches and the city is 30-40 mins with train. You get the best of both.

Convenient, comfortable, loved the movie star themed rooms. Staff were very friendly. A highlight was dinner in the restaurant downstairs with fado performance which was fabulous.

What a wonderful experience staying at Chalet Ficalho. We were welcomed by Maria and her daughter and immediately felt at home. The Chalet is beautiful with all the facilities one could wish for to escape on holiday but be close to the beaches and restaurants. Highly recommend this stunning venue.

Amazing place with tons of character and very accommodating hosts. The eclectic and tasteful decor was impressively pulled together and we were discovering little thoughtful details throughout our stay. The property provided piece and comfort, and all our needs were met. The location is a short Uber drive to every destination worth visiting - the Carcavelos beaches, Cascais, Sintra, Lisbon. We wished we had booked a few more days as there was definitely more to explore.
