Lurdes Couto, the owner was most hospitable. Beer, port and cookies on arrival before being shown to our delightful cottage. The kitchen was well equipped, including a coffee machine with capsules and fresh flowers on the dining table. Lovely tranquil garden rural setting. One of the nicest stays on our walking the Portuguese Camino. Lovely breakfast.

The accommodation is a small dream oasis just outside Porto, overlooking the Douro River. Every detail was perfect. Upon arrival, we were offered coffee. The room was spacious, the bed excellent. I truly felt a lovely sense of home. As an added bonus, there’s a terrace with a view where you can relax. I would go back there anytime!

Host very helpful with directions and sights. Very close to the train into Porto, parked the car in quiet street. Local stores if you need supplies, close by.
