The host is very nice, he served coffee every morning. He helped us grill the meat and make the fire. Even if he does not speak in English and only speaks in German a little bit, he always tried to help and he used google translate on a very effective way :) Anyway if you are looking for a nice and quite place with very friendly host, close to the mountains, choose Casa Lidia :)

I stayed only 1 night. I was coming down from Retezat mountains one day earlier so I booked a room late evening. The hosts reacted quickly, gave me indication and...gave me some food considering is so late and there was nothing opened around. I am very happy to find such a nice people. Thank you for everything and I hope to come back again some day!

If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy, this is the perfect place for you. You can enjoy the beautiful garden, make a barbecue or read a book. The rooms are perfect and super clean. The owners are wonderful and friendly people who will make you feel at home. We highly recommend this place 🙌🍀

Excellent location for exploring Retezat mountains (easy and fast access to Rausor, Carnic, Gura Apelor) and Hateg region. Silent location, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful garden, friendly host.
