The staff were wonderful and very helpful - their English was also fantastic. The food was exceptional. The location was just far enough out of Kranj to be very peaceful and with a bus service just outside, it was very easy to get in and out of town and also to Ljubljana. I would highly recommend Hisa Ales.

Nice hotel in nice location near city centr or local brewery. Really very good restauranton the rock edge over the river. Enough free parking directly in front of the hotel.

We spent 3 weeks in Slovenia, and this was the nicest host we encountered. She took the time to get to know you, and on arrival gave us a drink of choice each and a small pizza before we checked in. Breakfast the next day (for extra $) had absolutely everything, and more, she even gave us some takeaway bags. Finally, on leaving, she gave us a bottle of champagne. Also, the rooms were spotless, comfortable and warm. Highly recommended.

Just perfect! We were only passing through and decided to spend the night there due to problems with our car. Even though we arrived late at night and on short notice, we received a very warm welcome. The host had already turned on the heating in our rooms so we wouldn't be cold. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. In the morning, we woke up to beautiful surroundings (lake and mountains) and had one of the best breakfasts I've ever had in a hotel. The hosts are extremely nice and do everything they can to make your stay as great as possible. We regularly drive through Slovenia to get to Croatia and we will definitley come back to Bakhus! We 100 % recommend it!

Everything was beyond our expectations. The hosts were just amazing, the food was the best we had on our whole trip in Slovenia and the place is in a very beautiful and calm place. The double room was more than enough for two people and the private parking was perfect. Thank you very much for taking care of us although we stayed only for one night.

The Guesthouse Tulipan is located right on the main road in Lesce, a 5-minute walk from the pilgrimage church and from the Lesce-Bled Train and Bus Station.

Great traditional pub with warm welcome, we arrived early expecting to drop bags and come back later to check-in but they were lovely to have our room available , clean and comfortable room, good breakfast and great evening meal. Easy walk from train station and easy to catch bus to Lake Bled and Vintgar gorge. We had a balcony room with lovely view of the mountains. Would definitely recommend.
