The owners An and Frank were incredible hosts, very friendly, always willing to help with all sorts of enquiries, and gave tips on affordable food and drinks nearby. The large double room was very clean and came with a king size bed, which was a great luxury after some previous substandard accomodations. Had useful amenities including umbrellas and beach mats/towels available to borrow, as well as toiletries, hairdryer and coffee/kettle/fridge station. Within 5 mins walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants/bars nearby, with big supermarket 10-15mins walk away. Nice balcony with chairs and table to relax on with garden view. Would be happy to stay here again!

Stayed here last night and ate at the restaurant in the evening, joined by my son and his girlfriend who are staying elsewhere. The food was absolutely delicious! Between us, a pizza, spaghetti with meatball and a spaghetti with garlic and chillies. We couldn't see garlic bread on the menu and I think the chef did it especially for us. A piece each, and wow! Not the UK, 5 minutes in the oven type for sure! Whatever the red wine I had was incredible. First 2 glasses seemed a bit small for a 'small', next 2 were about right! I didn't see an option for a bottle or a large class. Price was very reasonable for the food and the ambient setting. Service was superb too. I paid by card and it was a bit unsettling for my card to disappear out of sight for a few minutes, but I am a worrier. All is fine. Slept very well! Bed is firm however I've no back problems this morning. Shower is good. Aircon is lovely. View from my private balcony is of the pool, the gym which looks superb. You can use the gym for an additional charge. Not sure how much but I imagine it's reasonable as there are always people using it, some fit some eager to get fitter. Location is fine. Shops within 1 minute for cold drinks and snacks etc. I've another night here, so if anything changes I can put it on my next review!

We booked for two nights to recover from a long journey before going off to the islands. Marins Home is a 25 minute taxi ride from Phuket airport (800bht). It is located off a busy road, but this is a real oasis of calm and we weren't bothered by traffic noise. The rooms are clean, beautifully decorated, and with a real attention to detail. The garden and birdsong are an added bonus. Marin is a welcoming, friendly, and very helpful host, and we'd happily stay here again.

Room was very clean, great value. Manager Kia and staff cant do enough to make my stay more comfortable. Location is good, with bike rentals and reataurants all very close. I will be back for longer stay.😍
