Great communication from host. Organised taxi from pier for 100 Baht. Perfect location only 2 min walk to Sunset Bar which is another great spot. Bungalow was immaculate, plenty of fresh air or AC if you prefer. Peaceful grounds, lovingly curated. Food is delicious and fresh, the rice soup for brekkie each day was ideal. Scooter on site for 250 Baht per day, laundry service. Highly recommended.

If you are traveling with a baby or if you would like to explore the various flavors of thai breakfast, you should definitely take a couple of days to stay with Amina, Manu and baby Maya. They are a Thai/French family with a relaxed attitude and a big heart. They speak very good English and French and helped us understand a lot about life in Thailand. They helped us arrange all sort of activities and had good recommendations that made our stay on the island very special. My wife, our baby (10 months) and me stayed a week with them and even considered changing our travel plans in order to stay even longer.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this charming and welcoming property. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the place felt like a genuine home away from home. Overall, the value for money here is excellent. I genuinely preferred staying at this authentic and peaceful property over the many more expensive and touristy options in the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a more personal and enriching travel experience. What made the experience even more special was the fact that it’s run by a local family who were incredibly kind, warm, and attentive throughout my stay. Their sincerity and hospitality really stood out—they were always available and willing to help with anything we needed. They offered scooter rentals at a very affordable price, which made exploring the area so convenient. On top of that, they kindly prepared breakfast early for us on days when we had to leave early, which we truly appreciated. One of the highlights of the stay was a boat tour to the nearby islands that they organized for us. It was an exciting and memorable experience, all at a very reasonable cost.

Staying here is a unique experience. The accommodation is set in lush vegetation, surrounded by noises of frogs, birds, crickets. Hornbills swoop around the trees. You are 2 minutes walk from a beach where you can see the sunrise. It is magical. The hosts are lovely, friendly people. We were given sticky rice and mango parcels the first morning which were delicious. Thank you We ate at the Sea Gypsy two nights, the food was great. The whole island is beautiful. Don’t hesitate to stay here, you will remember it for ever.

the property was sensational. We really enjoyed our stay which offered a private backyard where we enjoyed breakfast every morning, and the room itself was simple and spotless. Wichit (host) was so kind and accomodating. He made the stay much more enjoyable by sharing his tourism advice and helping us out around the island. His restaurant, a short walk down the road, supplied yummy food at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend staying at this destination if you’re looking to wind down after staying in the busy parts of Thailand.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly friendly, helpful, and supported us in every way. He not only arranged a scooter for us but also one with a sidecar, exactly in the quality we wanted. Later, he even drove us to the pier. Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious, individually customized breakfast that was not only tasty but also very reasonably priced. The entire property is lovingly maintained by the owner, his wife, and an employee. Everything was spotless and in top condition. The houses, built in 2019, are well-designed – modern, comfortable, and excellently maintained. A special highlight was the fish pond behind the property. My son and I were allowed to fish there for free, and afterward, I was even able to use the owner's kitchen to fry the fish fresh – a fantastic experience! Overall, we were completely satisfied – both with the host and the entire accommodation. If you’re looking for a warm atmosphere, excellent service, and a beautiful place to stay, this is the perfect spot! We will definitely be back.
