It was a very, beautiful, peaceful and quiet place but still very close to everything. Laura is a fantastic host and she made our stay even better and we had no worries at all. She arranged everything for us such as good breakfast, taxi and even motorbike delivery at the guesthouse. We will come back for sure !!

This has to be the nicest stay I've ever had anywhere. This could be because I could stay in my lovely room, smoke on the balcony, walk anywhere and anywhere, rent a motorbike across the road and eat across the road for less than £5 the most excellent thai dishes as well as eggs and ham toast etc....and the grass is excellent and available 24Hhrs.

Very beautiful place! We lived as if in the Garden of Heaven. Shops, beach, cafes - everything is near to the house. Also you can park your bike just near the apartment.

I started my one-year journey in Thailand, and at the very beginning of it, I stayed at Star Samui Guesthouse on Koh Samui Island. The owner, Neno, was one of the kindest people I met at the start of my trip — truly an amazing person who helped me a lot and made me feel at home. I was so happy with my stay that I decided to end my journey in the same place where it began. I came back to Star Samui Guesthouse, and once again, everything was perfect. I forgot the womans name that runs it but oh my goodness she is the sweetest woman. She will make you feel like she is your mother looking after you, she is so adorable!!!! We needed the room on emergency and she let us check in few hours early, we were so tired! Area is buzzing, plenty of nightlife. Cheap room, clean with great air con. Just at the end of the hall there is a nice view over a canal you can have your cigarettes. They look after a few cats too so you can sit and play with them :)
