This place is the perfect place to stay if you stop in Albertinia to visit the Garden Route Gane lodge. The bed and breakfast is hosted by two wonderful people, probably the kindest that I ever met in my life. Rooms are large, breakfast is good and the garden is amazing.

Nice accommodation not far from the main road heading to Garden Route with parking in front of the house. Hosts are very helpful and kind and the place is very safe. Great breakfast on beautiul terrace with gourgeous view to the garden. We had everything we needed for stay for one night and we felt like home. Thank you :)

The location not as expected and the residence is unique. Where do you go to a retreat and find one of the largest trees in South Africa. Marietjie the hostess was wonderful and only regret not spending more time with her and her incredible library of books

A hidden gem run by the friendliest people who literally cannot do enough for you We used it as a stopover for 2 nights and it was unforgettable……… it’s hard to put into words how quaint and beautiful this place is Marikje is the perfect kindest hostess you could wish for, if I could give it 20 stars out of 10 I would do We were a family of 2 adults, 18 and 15 year old and booked the cottage Just really cool and a unique experience
