The lodge had everything you could want. A highlight was the patio with braii grill and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Erich was an incredibly helpful and friendly host.

I have nothing negative to say about this accommodation. We had a wonderful stay. It was big and spacious, very well equipped and nice big comfortable bed. It was in a quiet area but close enough for a quick walk and you are in the centre of the town. Everywhere you look you are surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery. During our stay there was a big power outtage due to Eskom but the accommodation still had basic necessities like lights, TV and warm water. You can see that Manie made a lot of effort to make the place cozy and comfortable.

We stayed in Honeysuckle Guesthouse in Clarende by Mercia for 2 days and 2 nights, and it was brilliant. The room(s) with attached kitchenette and terrace are very comfortable and good. And Mercia is a fantastic hostess who serves a very tasty, acsurprising and ac very healthy breakfasts. We have only one final word to sum up our stay: SUPER! And when the sign hangs on the fence it is very easy to find :-)

Immaculate rooms in a dreamy setting. The rooms were very large with en-suite bathrooms. Lots of extra little details made it very special. Like your milk in a glass bottle and some port to enjoy in the room. The hosts were super friendly and helpful with local knowledge. The breakfast was also the best I’ve had in a long time. It was different to the usual fare. Interesting and so very tasty.

Johan and Tim are fabulous hosts. The B&B is a 2 minute walk from the centre with all the restaurants etc. - however you hardly need those after the delicious and too big breakfast 😂

Staying at this rental property was one of the most delightful experiences I’ve ever had, from the breathtaking, rose-covered farmhouse to the cuisine that deserves a five-star rating. The almond cake, in particular, was the best I’ve ever tasted.
