This hotel is really an experience, would really recommend to take your time and spend your afternoon up until morning at this place to soak it all in. A one of a kind gem tucked away in the beautiful forestry area between hout bay and Constantia. Truly recommend to stay here and enjoy both the indoor and outdoor areas.

Bluemari is a very special place. The Gueshouse has been designed and furnished with excellent taste to a very HIGH standard. There are lovely areas for guest use including a solar heated pool with longer & seating areas, lounge etc The breakfast was absolutely fantastic; a great selection of fresh fruits, homemade muesli, cheese & cold meats, and freshly made bread. And a selection of delicious hot dishes. The Host was very charming and accommodating. And gave us excellent advice on good local restaurants, attraction etc. It scores 10 out of 10 We will be back!!

We loved staying at Hout & About Guest House! Wonderful staff, amazing views, impeccable/clean facilities, the homey communal spaces and a yummy breakfast! Brightwater was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking! We booked the apartment, which was clean, fresh and so welcoming when we arrived. The views of the mountain from the balcony are also lovely. The staff was very pleasant and super helpful with information about the area. The lodge is well centered and accessible to restaurants and shops, as well as the bay for an afternoon walk. We really did not want to leave, and hope to be back soon. My only suggestion would be to put a table and chairs on the balcony for guests to enjoy the sunshine and views. We used the inside chairs which worked, but a table would've been great too. Thank you to Alex & team for a wonderful stay!

Very beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable facilities in a location just above constantia village. Excellent continental breakfast plus complimentary hot drinks at any time. Reasonably priced honesty bar, paid on departure. Laundry service available. Great hosts, efficient but not formal. Appreciate the lifts to local restaurants and sights from their driver ( Pinto). We did not have a hire a car but the lifts provided were offered at a good price, as is uber if you are stuck. Jenn & jacques make you feel totally at home. One evening we did not feel like going out so we ordered in from a local restaurant. Very much appreciated to be able to do this. Special mention to the gorgeous gardens and pool.

This is a fantastic place, and it truly deserves five stars. Large rooms with a fantastic view and exceptional staff. If you want a luxury holiday in a tranquil location, this is a place where you should go. It is outside of the city but at the same time close enough to the city.
